Unfortunately, your event is just weeks away.
At Olympus, we understand that last-minute situations are common because let’s face it – life can be hectic. To accommodate our customers in these scenarios, we have recently introduced rush orders!
Paying for a rush order reduces our average 12-week lead time (lead times may vary) down to only six weeks from the time the order is placed. We can do this while still maintaining our standards of consistency and quality that our custom mascots have always been known for.
How is this possible?
At the beginning of every month, we adjust our mascot production schedule to include placeholders. These placeholders allow for up to three rush orders to be placed per month without affecting our current production schedule.

Effective communication is crucial for making rush orders possible. We need dedication and responsiveness from you to make a rush order possible. To ensure your preparations go smoothly and the process is expedited, here are some key points to keep in mind:
Order Placement: It’s essential to note that the six-week timeline begins once the order is officially placed. This is different from submitting a “Mascot Costume Quote” form on our website. To place an order, we require design and material approvals, a signed contract, your “in-hands” date, and a 100% down payment.
Sketches: Our talented team at Olympus Mascots can help design a mascot that truly embodies your brand. This process involves considerable back-and-forth communication and revisions, which can take time depending on the number of changes made. For rush orders, please come prepared with an already-established design, including specific details, pantone colors, and brand guidelines. While we can certainly provide input, having a well-developed design will streamline the process, allowing us to get approvals quickly
Materials: When selecting fabric and color, we generally like to send multiple samples for you to review in person. To accommodate a rush order, we prefer to send photos of the materials via email. Although you will not physically have the samples in hand, our knowledgeable sales and production team can help you choose from over four hundred different fabrics we have in stock and match colors to your brand. If receiving a physical sample is important to you, we can arrange for overnight shipping at your expense, but please note that this may add time to the overall process.
Communication: Open communication is KEY to the success of the rush process. Before we can place your order, we need a lot of information and approvals from you. The speed at which we receive this information impacts how quickly we can place the order and initiate the six-week timeline. We typically request your responses within 24-48 hours to facilitate this process. By keeping these points in mind, we can ensure a smoother and faster experience for your rush order.
Making a custom mascot requires a lot of planning, time, and craftsmanship. Providing an Olympus Mascot level of quality while getting your mascot to you as quickly as possible is skill within itself. Below is our general timeline with all the steps it takes to create a mascot.
Up until the “create” phase, how quickly we can progress through the process mostly depends on how fast you can move. That’s why it’s important to come to us with as much information and preparation as possible. From there, we adjust our schedule to expedite your order and get your mascot in your hands ASAP.
With a few adjustments to our process and some help from you, we can outrun the clock and give you the mascot you want within the time you need it.
